Dear Hilo
Archive/RSS/Ask
For almost a year now, we have talked and fallen asleep alongside one another every day and night.
On Skype.
Now, after many months of planning and tolerating the two thousand miles that kept us from meeting one another, we've moved in together. We've made the jump that most internet-borne LDRs never get the chance to, as unfortunately realistic as that is -- but we're doing it.
My adorable boy's annoying me every chance he gets, and filling my days with splendor. I'm simply in awe. He's everything to me, and more than I could've ever hoped for.
This is a story about love, spontaneity, and overcoming all obstacles and impossibilities; now, in the future, and forever.
He is also shirtless and buff as hell.

Wait, so what kind of BC method are you using?
I’m using Implanon again. So far no babies ( - u -)/ *knock on wood*
Oh, and as an update on the birth control:
I spoke with my doctor about how my past 3 years have been with Implanon, and we went over IUDs and other methods. In the end, I decided to stick with what I knew, and after much tearing, tugging, and wincing, we got my old little pink matchstick and put a new one right back in.
We ran out of condoms (which I was secretly hoping for), but my plans haven’t come together as I had expected.
Now we haven’t fooly-cooly’d in like…. weeks.
It’s a good thing I have this iPhone to distract me, or I’d be distraught.

oh youre back lol
Yep, yep! Well… kinda. It’s hard to tear myself away from Skryim to do much of anything at the moment. But I’ve just received my first smartphone today (I went all out with the new iPhone), so hopefully I’ll be more active on Tumblr.
Hilo and I are focused on our career paths more than anything at the moment. He’s been looking for a new car and we’ve both somewhat thrown around the idea of getting a house together (which makes me more excited and squeal-y inside than I’ll ever let on).
The next big thing we’re doing together is my company’s holiday party in early December. We’re also going to attempt to go to the gym together… but that’s really, really tough. Especially since he figured out how to make home-made pizza, and we got the cable hooked up to our sweet-ass TV.
I’ll give you three guesses for what Hilo and I have been obsessively playing the past week or so.
Fuck, it’s so fun. We both wish it had co-op, though. But for now, we’re settling with screen-looking.
Tonight we’re going to Ikea to grab 4 extra legs for the other desktop we have so our gaming setup is even MORE expansive!
We both have been incredibly busy with work, so there hasn’t been a ton to report, but to gloss over a few things:
• BlizzCon was amazing. Holy shit, guys.
• We attended the opening ceremony of DSC’s new Star Wars exhibit. I seriously recommend it for any age Star Wars fan. The models and outfits they have on display are too cool.
• We both unwillingly ogled nutsacks galore when we saw Immortals.
• We both got much-needed haircuts. Sexiest couple alive.
• Blanka’s starting being a baby at night and creeping down between us now that the temperature’s dropping. It’s pretty cute, so there’s no point in being mad at her.
• I picked up Guild Wars again (well, before Skyrim came out). Looking forward to Guild Wars 2, and I might even get Hilo to play. He’s stretched so thin on video games, though, I don’t want to burn him out.

You should get an IUD instead. No hormones, no bumps under the skin, and it lasts up to 10 years. At least mine does! And it’s probably the best decision of my fertile life, so far! Pricey but covered by most insurances btw.
Ooh, now that is interesting. I probably plan on having kids in the next 10 years, but I’ll talk to my gyno about it when I see her on Friday. I know that Implanon gave me crazy ass periods so maybe it’s better if I switch it up.
Thanks for the advice, hobro :D
Birth Control
doyoubelieveher replied to your post:
BC removed and replaced? Mirena?
I don’t use that one, I use another called Implanon. It’s all progesterone instead of estrogen.
It also goes in my upper arm, right beneath the skin. I can still feel my current one in there if I press down with my fingertips (it’s also a year expired, which is terrible… everywhere I called wanted to charge me at least $700 to get it removed when I didn’t have healthcare).
They take a big ass needle that can fit around the matchstick-sized implant, then insert it. It’s only sore for about a week afterwards. I just can’t remember to take a pill, and I’ve heard of terrible side effects for doing the shots. And this lasts for 3 years :3
I’ll take pics after the deed is done!
