9 Months Later…

Hello, darling! It’s been so long since I’ve written, and I’m very sorry about that. I’ve finally updated my theme and there’s just so much happening that I felt the need to write here again.

For one, we both are working at new places — both in the gaming industry.
We celebrated our 2 year anniversary in June. ♥♥
We’re about to celebrate your birthday in less than two weeks by going to Seattle and visiting Valve!

I’m feeling a bit ill, so I’ll have to write more later when I’m not at work and feeling better.

Dear Hilo,

The next three weeks are going to be pretty hectic for both of us! Tomorrow, I’m taking a beginning Excel class at work while you work all day. 
Next Friday, I finally FINALLY get my birth control removed and replaced. Yesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesssssss.
And then the following week, we’re going up to NorCal for 4 days to celebrate your birthday. I’m so happy that you want to go up there, too. I’m really excited and I hope we can do something extra cool while we’re there. I’ve thought about a present to get you, but I might need to bundle it with your Christmas present :x I’m not sure yet.

Anyway, I’m going to try and put some sweet tunes on my iPod so the drive up isn’t so horrendous.

Also — stop smelling my breath for traces of stranger dick. I’m not like that and I don’t like to see you get antsy, okay? I really like you.

Dear Hilo,

I’d love to party with everyone in San Diego next month, but I’m afraid it’s just going to turn into another trip like San Francisco.

Everyone else goes out to clubs and bars while you have to babysit me and we fall asleep at 10pm.

I really want you to be able to go out and celebrate it with everyone. I wish that there was something I could do while you all did that… then I’d be more than happy to go. But wandering around in a large, strange city at night probably isn’t the best idea for a little white girl.

And although I appreciate them trying to alter plans so I can join, it makes me feel more guilty than anything. Because no matter what, things don’t really work out that way. If it’s 21 and over, I’d rather not even try to get in to save the embarrassment of everyone when I get ID’d.
